Nutrition Month: Kalamidad Paghandaan, Gutom at Malnutrisyon Agapan"


       This month of July is the month where in different calamities are expected to happen like typhoons and we're also celebrating the nutrition month. We all know that due to the calamities we usually suffered from hunger which can cause for malnutrition. If there are are calamities, we might experience food shortage and the first thing to be affected is our health and nutrition

         This nutrition month with a theme: " Kalamidad paghandaan gutom at malnutrisyon agapan" we need to work together in preparing  for calamities so that we can prevent hunger and malnutrition. There are so many things we can do to be prepared for these calamities. We can pack our survival bag containing flashlights, first aid kit, can goods and other survival stuffs to be needed. We need to save enough foods that we can eat during calamities. In times of calamities, we prepared to eat can goods, noodles and other foods that aren't easy to be spoiled. The theme of this nutrition month serve as a reminder to all of us that we should be always prepared for calamities in order to avoid any incidents that can cause to hunger. Food is a very important thing to the individual human beings. It gives us energy and nutrition so that are body can function well and can perform whatever activities we need to do. If we have a shortage on this many of us will be end up in being malnourished, things that should not happen.
   
            We should  start our action now, nutrition is a serious fact because it involves our health, we shouldn't take this for granted. We must take care of it. So what are we waiting for, let's prepared for calamities and prevent hunger and malnutrition.

Letter To The President Of The Philippines

Dear Mr. President,

               It's been an honor to be given a great opportunity to write you  letter sir but before anything else I would like to greet you for a very wonderful day and I hope that you are in a good condition while reading this letter. I know sir that you are much aware on the things that are happening to our country and I know that you're trying your best to have an action in those situations. I would like you to know sir that I really appreciate the fact that you're doing your obligation and that you're very aggressive on making things better. You might not believe me if I'll said that I understand you but I do. I know it's hard to become a President of the Philippines, you carried the greatest responsibility on your shoulder all the time, you have all the trust of people and they hope that you can actually raise and rule our country very well. Everywhere you go there's pressure on you and all the eyes are focus in you. It actually amazes me on how you're able to handle all of this. I know that you can be a good leader and I believe in your capabilities. I just felt sorry for you for those people who judge you easily, for those who can't see your efforts and just doubts the decision you made. I know it's all a part of your life as a politician but I just wish people could understand that you're only an ordinary human like us, that sometimes you also commit mistakes,sometimes you get tired and  also need a rest and that you can't fix everything with just one wave of your hand.
                Yes you are powerful because you have the authority of being  a President but it doesn't mean that you can solve problems in our country immediately. I would also like to thank you for always keeping your feet to the ground and for treating us like one of your family that we're very welcome to approach you anytime we have problems. I'm also thankful to you sir for kicking those pest out on your organization for those who corrupt amount of money and that is a good start. Thanks for everything you've done to make this a better country for all of us. I just have a special request to you sir which I hope you don't mind, I hope that somehow you can make an action for this. As one of the students of Ilocos Sur National High School,I would like to request a donation coming from you sir. We have a great population here in school which only means that this coming year where K-12 curriculum is already approaching we need more classrooms,comfort rooms, school supplies like blackboards, chairs, books and some other stuffs that we will use for studying. We need a support from you sir and it would be very much  appreciated if this request will be granted.
