"Teachers are just like books"

They are the trees of wisdom and we’re the fruits. They’re the lights that shine upon us.  They are the rainbows after a strong rain. They are the bridges that give path to our dreams. A life without them is like a tree without leaves, a pond without water, a ball pen without ink, a sky without stars and a man without soul. They always complete us, my teacher, your teacher, our teacher.

A teacher is not just the one who always wears a teacher uniform, who always carry books, chalks, eraser and a stick and who always works at school. Everyone can be a teacher, even you. Teachers cannot be seen to the way they dress but in the way they share their knowledge to everyone. True teachers, have the willingness to help others in order to expand their knowledge without waiting for exchange. People who give advice not just when you needed them but all the time can also be a teacher. When someone scolds you because what you did is wrong, they are considered to be a teacher also. As long as we learn something from them, they are considered as our teachers.

Being a teacher is not easy and we all know that. Just like our parents they also take great responsibilities especially to us. If you are a teacher you need to make sure that you are giving your students the correct lessons for them to study. You should be a good model to your students. You give all your energy in teaching and you sustain knowledge to the brain of your students because every word that comes out to your mouth is important. You should sacrifice your time just to teach and sometimes you even sacrifice your own health. Even if you’re sick, you still do your best to come to school and teach.  Even if you are so tired you’re still ready and approachable in any case that we have problem. Even if you almost lost your voice you still continue to discuss. Teachers are just like books, no matter how many times we use it, no matter how old it is, it’s still provides us knowledge. We are nothing without them, we are pretty much useless without them. Without them, there will no doctors, engineers, lawyers and others. They are important to us and always remember that a student’s success is also a teacher’s success.

There are only four letters and one word that can describe our teachers and that is HERO and there are only two words and eight letters that I would like to say and that is THANK YOU.

SCIENCE IN ACTION

During these days when you look on the newspaper, watch on television and listen to the radio, the news is all about diseases. Not just normal diseases but new discovered diseases spreading from country to another country and that is very alarming isn’t?
In our day to day activities we discovered new things and Science has a big part on it. Everywhere and anywhere we go there is Science, it has a huge contribution to our lives most especially in the field of medicine. Through Science, we’re able to produce medicines to cure diseases and we’re able to prevent those diseases. As days go on, more and more  discoveries and scientist never stop on performing experiments in order to create an effective and sufficient cure for these diseases and even if it’s in a way of natural or in chemical , still it’s a Science. Science provide us also the vitamins that we’re taking to make our immune system strong and to fight diseases that can affect our health, without the study of science  we are not able to know those healthy benefits of foods, a certain plants and others. So, as science clubbers we should do our duties together in order to have a healthful defenses. We should work together and share our knowledge to each other.
Science is very important to us, it gives explanation in almost everything in this world. It makes us aware and not being ignorant   on the things that around us. So we better take Science in action.

"Mothers,our ultimate heroes"

I just want to dedicate this article to all mothers in the world, most especially to my ever loving mother. Just wanna tell you guys are so amazing. We salute you....

Who is the one who carried us for 9 months at their womb and gave birth to us? When we’re still a baby, who is the one who nourish us by breast feeding? Who is the one who teaches us to talk, to walk, to sing, to dance, to read and everything? Who is the one who is always there for us even when the whole world walks away on you? She does still there and always be.  Who is the one who scolds us every time we made a mistake? Who is the one we can lean on through good and bad times? Who is the one who have a patient on our immaturities? I’m sure you already figure it out. The one is no other than our mother.

Our mothers have plenty names that we used to call them. I call my mother as Mang( an Ilocano term for Mom) or sometimes Ma. Some of you call their moms as Mommy, Mom, Ma, Nay, Nang and other people especially the so called very modern teenagers like “Jejemons “call their mothers as Mudra or Ermatz. If there are different names for mothers, of course we also have different kinds of mothers.  Some of us have a stage mom, a very supportive mom, the strict one, the overacting one, the spoiler, a sister mom, a best friend mom, a kill joy mom, a funny mom, a cruel mom, a loving mom, a kind mom and many more but even though they have different kinds and names they’re all one, they’re all the same in one thing and that is, they’re all our heroes.

Moms aren’t perfect they are human like us. They don’t have super powers like the superheroes we used to watch on movies or we used to read at the books.  But they’re greater than any superheroes because there are things that a mother can give to you that a superhero can’t and that are their love and attention. The love of a mother is very unique and powerful in many ways, through this love they’re willing to do anything for us as long as it’s for our own sake. Mothers prioritize their families most especially to their kids. You don’t have to work hard or to compete just to get attention from them because you already have it unlike superheroes, we have to compete people in the whole world and sometimes we need to be in danger first just to get their attentions.  Mothers can be cruel sometimes and scold too much but they’re only doing that because they love us. They can’t save you from death but they can sacrifice their lives for you. They can’t give you all the money in this world but they can give you the greatest thing in this earth that even money can’t buy and that is LOVE. They can’t cure your diseases but they can take care of you even when you’re sick or not.  They can’t solve your problems but they will help and guide you. They can’t take away the pain that you’re feeling but they can make you laugh. They also make mistakes like us but they know how to make it right for us. They can’t give you the most and expensive food but they can simply offer you their food. Sometimes we don’t understand them but someday we will, when the time comes that we will have our own family and we will be the parents of our children.

Our mothers are the ultimate heroes in our lives always remember that. No matter what happens once a mother will always be a mother. She has endless responsibilities, she can’t quit nor have a break for being a mother. Let’s showered them with our joy and bundled them with our loves for they are the most precious thing that happened in our lives.

"Wikang Filipino, Kailangan ka namin"

Source:
